Engineering is the art of applying scientific and mathematical principles, experience, judgment and common sense to make things that benefit people. Engineers design bridge and important medical equipments as well as process for cleaning up toxic spills and systems for mass transit. In other words, engineering is the process of producing a technical product or system to meet a specific need.

         The objective of B. E. program at Gangamai College is to groom the students for the industries. The students graduates in the program are suited for any industry like IT, Computer Software developments or Manufacturing Heavy Industry, Mechanical Designing, Power Sector, Other than strength jobs students can plan their future studies like M.E., MBA,MCA and also many paths get opened up with engineering.

        Engineers have many different types of jobs to choose from, including research, design, analysis, development, testing and sales positions. If you are interested in discovering new knowledge, you might consider a career asa research engineer. If you are imaginative  and creative, design engineering may be for you. The work of analytical, engineers most closely resembles what you do in your mathematics and science classes.

       Engineering work is also organized by traditional academic fields of study. The five largest of these are Mechanical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Civil Engineering.  

The College

             Gangamai College of Engg. Nagaon, was established in year 1991. It is considered one of the premier Engineering Institutes in this region. This institute was setup in July 1991, from Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. It is approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi, Vide Letter No. FP-2/B-III-RE(BB)/93 dated 06/04/1994. The Institute is situated on the out-strits of Dhule City located on Bombay-Agra National High way No.3.

             The college consists of Lecture Rooms, Tutorial Rooms, Computer Labs, Laboratories, Workshop, Library and Administrative Office, Boys & Girls Hostels, Play Field etc. with lush green lawns and pollution free environment. It helps the students to prepare itself for the next 30 years of career in Government, Industry or Business.     

 

HIGHLIGHT

The only education engineering college having more than 500 networked computers under the university as none of other colleges have this much computers.

 

Mechanical department is of the cream of the college where the inventions are taking place. The college have installed all the latest machineries for experiments of the students.
